Happy Day!

It’s my birthday!

A few little happy’s that I’d love today…..

This Shappy Apple dress….

a mini balloon bouquet….

and this gorgeous rainbow cake!

Birthdays make me reflect and be grateful for life. This world is beautiful and I’m so glad to be a part of it.

I’ve heard 26 is a good one and I can’t wait to see what this year brings!

T-shirt Apron

These aprons made from t-shirts are cute! And if you know how to operate a sewing machine, it looks totally easy!

Find the full tutorial over at Ruffles and Stuff.

Hair Flower Power

I whipped up this little hair flower Saturday morning for my niece’s birthday. I think it’s just darling. Who knew you could get so much cuteness from a little felt and a button. So much fun to make!

Thanks to Yoonie-at-Home for a terrific tutorial and template.

Stache Bash

Looks like it’s going to be a testosterone filled day today :)

Twig & Thistle’s Stache Bash is the most awesome themed work party I could probably ever think up. Unfortunately I work with 100% female, so I don’t know that we could pull this one off in my office.

Check out this awesome party gear.

The voting cards totally crack me up!

The winners with their lovely prizes

Mr. Man party

I found this one a while back and it instantly came to mind when I was thinking over my favorite parties.

Introducing….the Mr. Man party!

A Full House put this together for her triplet boys and her brother. I think it’s such a unique and fitting theme.

This framed chalkboard is gorgeous on its own, but it really makes a nice little ‘welcome’ for guests, dont’cha think?

So cute that she had the little guys wear ties.

She had chocolate moustaches and tie napkins on hand for guests. Love these details!

Such easy decor and inexpensive decor

Milk & Cookies Birthday Bash

This milk and cookies themed 1st birthday party by A. Party Style is too cute!

Milk/beverage station (check out those little tags with a picture of the sweet birthday girl. great idea!)

The cookie bar looks phenomenal. So much to choose from!

Check out more pictures and details over here.

Indoor Picnic

This indoor picnic themed baby shower from Lucy*isms is so fun! From the barbeque sandwich station, to the tractors and mason jar glasses (which I used myself a couple of years ago) this shower definitely has a ton of southern style!

(p.s. it’s slightly disturbing for me to read ‘Lauren’s having a baby’ on that invitation! hehe)

I sort of have a thing for kraft brown envelopes and labels (remember these?), so this invitation set is right up my alley.

She printed an image of a little green tractor on various paper products throughout the shower using her gocco.

Simple table setting with sweet little wildflowers that look like they were freshly picked from the yard. :)

This is just amazing! I love good bbq!

Pancake breakfast

How about brunch this morning?

These tiny pancakes are just too much!

School Themed Baby Shower

I not so secretly would love to be a teacher and I have a deep appreciation for school/office supplies, so I’m sort of obsessed with thisĀ  this shower for an expecting teacher I found via Amy Atlas.

A customized composition notebook served as the guest book.

Chalkboards, apples, and little milks!

Brown paper sacks with apple stamps? Love them!

They even had cafeteria trays! I’m guessing they had the hook up at the elementary school.

Such a fun way to honor a teacher! To see much more from the shower, head over here.

Gorgeous 1st Birthday Party

Let’s start the week off with a 1st birthday party, shall we? Let me just say, Tova is one lucky little girl to have a mom as talented as Kallie to throw her beautiful parties like this one. The color palette is yummy…..and I bet those cupcakes were too!

Such a simple, gorgeous set up!

I love the blue glass she incorporated.

Those colorful poms are just too pretty!

Kallie made the cake topper herself. So cute!
