Dog Food Tin

Marie over at Watch the wind Blow By had this ingenius idea for a less expensive version of a dog food tin she saw in Ballard Designs (which was near 50 bucks!). With an old popcorn tin, spray paint, a handle and rubber stamps for the lettering she went from this:

I think it turned out so cute and quite close to the more expensive version. There are so many possibilites you could use these little tins for….I’ve had my eye on a laundry detergent tin in the same style for a while now. I may just have to try this out.

Summer’s Not Over Yet!

I love this little project from PurlBee for fabric beach balls. They look pretty simple and they’re just so darn cute. I could see it doubling as a picnic pillow as well.

Housewarming card

Sorry posting has been slow. I had sinus surgery last week and have been totally out of it until today.

Here’s a project I worked on a couple of weeks ago. I did these housewarming invitations for my friend Kim, then she had them printed through Vistaprint. She was so sweet to send me a copy so I could see the final product!

Pet Silhouette

My friend Kim asked if I could do silhouettes of her precious pug pups. I had to say yes…Since I can’t have pugs of my own, I pretend like hers are mine.

Here they are, Lola and Franco. You may remember Lola from a previous post.

She’s going to frame it out with a red matte. I think it will look great Kim. So happy to help!
